Toddlers Helping

One of the benefits of having so many children is that the younger ones actually learn by watching the older children. We do not usually have much fuss when we ask the younger children to do something (oh there are exceptions to that with certain ones at certain times, don’t worry!) It was so cute when we were getting the garlic done because the garbage can was still out after sweeping and our one and only toddler in the house took it upon himself to put it back. Call it his contribution to the family work. But the thing is the garbage can is just as big as he is! You can see baby helping here, proof that toddlers can help. Or sort of. (wry smile!)

My toddler does the same. It’s such a great feeling to see your kids learn to help others. Although…sometimes he thinks putting his dirty clothes back in his dresser is also ‘helping’ lol

My toddler likes to help too. And as she gets older, I have to follow behind her less and less to redo it. :D

My son used to love to “help” me, but now that he’s grown it’s easier to pull your own tooth then get him to help LOL Cute post!
