Remember my garlic? Well it never got planted and some of them were starting to get soft so I got all my little people together to peel and separate them so we could freeze them. I could have dehydrated them but didn’t. We could still do that with some of them though.
So I thought with all the photos I took, they would make a Fun with Food post today. Here are pictures of my crew:
WOW. That’s a lot of garlic. Glad your crew helped!
What are you going to make with it?
Aww…too bad you never got it planted! But totally understandable…you had so much to do this season! let us see how mine turns out~
Oh man that’s a ton of garlic. I love garlic, I always say the more garlic the better
We’ll just use it as we need it. Nothing special or fancy.
Yeah, I was disappointed to say the least, but there’s always next year or I mean this year! Yes, please do let me know how yours turns out! Still gotta dig up plants and such at the old house. Do you think spring is ok for most of what I have there? Raspberries, blueberries, garlic, herbs and some perennials.
Every year I say I am going to plant garlic – haven’t done it yet. Maybe this fall….
You can never have too much garlic!
wow! what do you do with all of that?
We are going to use it as we need it for garlic bread, spaghetti and pizza sauces etc.
That sure is a lot of garlic!
I love garlic!

I would never have thought about freezing garlic!
That is definitely alot of garlic, but I use it in so much.
Spring or fall is the best time to transplant… just do not want to do it in the summer when it is too hot!
I love garlic! Love the pics!
Glad to hear you love garlic!
Yeah, I didn’t until I had several pounds to “save”.
I can almost smell it. Yummm what will you use all tht for? I really need to buy real garlic
I will just use it for spreads, and whatever other dishes we make. Really wish I had got it planted, but oh well, this is better than it going to waste!
