OUR REVIEW:
We received the 4 tier packin’ smart. This was a nice size as it allows for versatility of storage. I used the product to house treats for my toddler on the go. I found that this was a useful product to house treats as the compartments detach and I could give her one compartment and keep the rest in the diaper bag. One thing I liked was the small opening on the lid…it was great for dispensing just enough treats. The opening is large enough for the treats to get through without a problem, yet small enough so not too many treats squeeze out and make a mess.
Other uses? I think that this product would be great for baby formula…it would allow just the right amount and the opening would allow for easy dispensing. As I was looking over the website the pictures also show that you can use the product for a wide range of storage…one that caught my eye was office supplies such as paper clips and thumbtacks, etc…this would prove to be a great storage option as it would allow for neat and easy dispensing. I was also thinking this would be a great way to store spices…each in its own compartment and of course the easy dispensing feature! As you can tell the storage options are endless! This is a neat product! Visit www.packinsmart.com to view more about the product and buy a few!

New Changes and Improvements to Infants’ and Children’s Tylenol
I’m sure most of you have heard and responded to all the recalls for Tylenol. Tylenol has responded back with their changes and improvements they want us to share with you. The first item is a letter from Ed Kuffner, MD, father of three, and Vice President, Medical Affairs at McNeil.
“As a dad and doctor, I know firsthand how tough it can be when your baby or child gets sick. While we are trying to comfort our children, we are also making sure that they are getting the care and medicine that they need to feel better. For me, like every parent, safety comes first.
For this reason, as early as this upcoming and flu season, we will be making safety and convenience enhancements to both Infants’ and Children’s TYLENOL products, including a change to the concentration of our Infants’ TYLENOL products.
NEW FEATURES
Infants’ TYLENOL will be available with a new bottle that has a protective opening and a new push-in-syringe which will:
1. Further reduce the risk of children being able to get to the medicine in the bottle
2. Provide even better dosing accuracy and ease of administration to your child
3. Allow for better control when dispensing the medication and reduce spillage
We will also be enhancing the bottles of Children’s TYLENOL with a protective opening that will help make it more difficult for a child to get to the medicine in the bottle.
To help encourage industry-wide adoption of these safety innovations, we have shared our plans with other manufacturers of pediatric acetaminophen products.
Important Changes to the Concentration of Infants’ TYLENOL
Moving forward, there will be one concentration of acetaminophen for single-ingredient TYLENOL products for infants and children. This change is being made to standardize dosing across our products and age groups. As always, Infants’ and Childrens’ TYLENOL products will continue to include specially designed dosing devices appropriate to the age of the child.
We have been working closely with other manufacturers of pediatric acetaminophen products to encourage an industry wide transition to one concentration across infants’ and children’s acetaminophen products.
1. It is important to be aware that there will be a time period when both the current and new concentrations of Infants’ acetaminophen products will be available in stores and parents and caregivers might have both in their medicine cabinets.
2. Be sure to read and follow the dosing directions on the product that is being used.
3. Caregivers should contact their child’s health care provider if they have questions about dosing instructions.
Helpful Tips for Giving Medicines to Infants and Children
Simply remember to N.U.R.S.E
Never give adult medicines to children
Use the measuring device (syringe, dropper, dosage cup) that comes with the medicine every time you use it. Don’t use kitchen spoons (teaspoons or tablespoons).
Read and follow instructions on the label. Never give more than the recommended dose and do not give the medication more frequently than recommended.
Store all medicines out of the reach of children. Immediately following use, always restore the child resistant cap and put the medicine back into a high and out of sight location.
Every child grows. Know the infant’s or child’s weight and/or age to help determine the appropriate dose.
We appreciate your patience as we work to bring these new innovations to store shelves. Please visit www.tylenol.com to learn more about our products and these changes.”

My Review:
My, daughter, husband and I sat down last night and read this book before bed. This book was perfect for us because we say night night and our daughter understands what it means. We all enjoyed it! My daughter loves the illustrations as she pointed out various object and animals throughout the book. It was a good learning tool also. We asked her where the stars were on a page and she would point them out. It was just long enough to keep her attention and start relaxing for the night.
I know I’ve said and I’ll say it again, great baby shower gift! I would recommend this book for you and your little ones as a great bonding tool! It’s available now! We will be reading it again tonight and in the future for sure.

Midnight Lullaby CD Review
Faith and Family Reviews received the following product in exchange for writing a review. While we consider it a privilege to receive free products to review, our reviews are our honest opinion and thoughts of the product.
“Jane Roman Pitt’s Midnight Lullaby is a delightfully soothing collection of bedtime songs written by some of our genreation’s most endeared singer songwriters including Bob Dylan, Wilco, Tom Waits, The Dixie Chicks, Sade and more. In those moments when it’s time for parents and baby to retire for the night, this CD serves as something that parents and babies alike enjoy.”
“Midnight Lullaby was produced in Nashville by Grammy Award winner Mac Gayden and feature many of Nashville’s finest musicians.”
“Not only is the act of lulling children to sleep with music a pleasurable experience, but studies show that music enhances a baby’s brain development. These songs, which crossover into adult contemporary genre, have significant impact on the child’s health and well being.”
About Jane Roman Pitt:
“Jane’s introduction to music came from sneaking downstairs at night to hear the classical chamber music her parents and their friends were playing, and later by listening nonstop to folk music, pop, and jazz from all over the world. She started to play guitar at 15, and began to sing and play at local coffeehouses, college campuses, and on public television as the resident folk singer. She has a graduate degree in music history and composition, and has published her classical choral music with Transcontinental Music in New York.”
“Jane started collecting lullabies in preparation for her first grandchild. “Since the beginning of time, singing lullabies has been a way to express love and comfort. The languages may vary, but the message is exactly the same: ‘I love you very much, I’m here, and now please go to sleep!”
My Review:
Great baby shower gift! I’m also recommending this CD for people that need to relax and let their day go. When my daughter and I listened to this beautifully soothing CD, I almost fell asleep before her. The music takes you to your relaxing/happy place. If you close your eyes and listen, your there. All the songs are wonderful, however my favorite song on the CD is “My Darling” written by Wilco. You are able to listen to partial songs on her website.
You won’t regret purchasing this CD.

2D or 3D Frame Review
Faith and Family Reviews received the following product in exchange for writing a review. While we consider it a privilege to receive free products to review, our reviews are our honest opinion and thoughts of the product.
Z-Access Display Frame made by the Lewibelle Company developed this product. Upon visiting their website at www.displayit3d.com, they have 7 different colors. The have 2 styles of frames 6″ x 4″ Frame with Base and the one I’m reviewing a pink 6″ x 4″ “Rotating Frame-Within-A-Frame”. It is a wood frame with film insert so, it stretches. It has two (2) “U” shaped clamps to keep the frame together. According to the instructions enclosed, “The 6″ x 4″ frame size will normally display items with volumes up to thirty-seven (37) cubic inches. This volume relates to an item size of up to 5″ x 3″ x 2.5′.” It can hold an object up to three (3) pounds. They go on to state that the films are tear resistant and the films can be replaces. However, I wouldn’t be poking at it with anything sharp.
My Review:
The instructions are understandable and the frames opens and closes with ease. All you need to do is turn the inside frame (Picture 1) and pull off the two (2) “U” shaped clamps (Picture 2), put your object inside, and put the “U” clamps back on. Slide on the base, and your all set.
Picture 1
Picture 2
The hardest problem I had was trying to decide what to put in it. Finally, I selected one of my daughter shoes she had as a newborn. Picture 3 shows the frame with shoe head on. Picture 4 shows the frame from the side, you can see the shoe “sticking” out.
Picture 3
Picture 4
I removed the shoe to see how the film stretched. It did a little, but not enough to where I couldn’t put something else in it. I would suspect if you were to put a baseball in it for an extended time, it would stretch further.
I love it and have gotten many compliments on it. I’m buying this frame for the next baby shower I attend. Check out their site at www.displayit3d.com. This is a great gift for a sports fan also!
Opinions are my own.

Baby Clothes: Down Memory Lane
Ok, the other day in my post about Please Mum I mentioned that we had a couple of articles of clothing that has last through our four boys and in the comment section I clarified that it was baby items. I was able to scrounge up one of them, I am still looking for the other. Here is the little vest my friend gave our son. I love it not only because of the fleece material, but because it has the Canadian flag on it reminding me of my heritage, of my friends and loved ones still in Canada:
As you can see baby boy was not very cooperative this morning, but that will have to do as I am quite out of time. Trying to take the weekend off and while cleaning found the vest so wanted to post about it before I forgot all about it. If the other outfit turns up, I will post it too. It is a little green vest, a red and white striped shirt (had matching socks but I think they’ve been long lost for a while now) and brown pants. The fabric of the pants is so silky soft. But is a cute little boy’s safari-like outfit.
Oh and here are a few other older baby outfits that all eight of our children have worn:
If I was a mom with more time to devote to a proper post, I would look back in my old photo files and find you pictures of my kids wearing these outfits, but alas, I am a very busy mama who needs to get back to cleaning, sorting and getting giveaway things packed up and ready to ship out. Yep, getting rid of baby stuff too. There is no more room left in the inn. Only a few favorites will stay, just in case another little Gould happens along. No, that was not a hint. There is no new little Gould on its way. Only the Lord knows if and when.
Gotta run….
Ok, I am back again. I found two more of the three missing items. Amazing what you can find in the cracks, beneath the bed, in the clean laundry pile or in the among the other children’s clothing. The striped shirt from Please Mum is stretched out a lot since we got it nine years ago, but still wearable, more so beneath the vest though. Here they are:
