LED Strip

These LED strips are the coolest thing I have ever bought. It comes in a spool and you can cut the strip to fit whatever length you need. It comes with a remote control so you can make the strip change colors more or less often, keep it on one color, or have it flash different colors. The LED is very bright and would be great for parties. We put ours on our patio for parties since they are also waterproof. They are easy to hang since it just uses 3M tape. They are easy to remove and add more strips to them as well. These LED strips would be great for bars, kids rooms, parties, pools, anywhere you want to add a little fun. I highly recommend them!

Wildlife Camera

This wildlife camera is perfect for what I needed it for. I live in the country and wanted to see what kind of animals are in our backyard. It only turns on when it senses movement, and then it takes pictures or videos. The screen is very clear and it was very easy to set up. I was impressed at how user friendly the camera was. It took me about 5 minutes to figure it out. It comes with a strap so you can easily attach it to a tree, post, or anything really. The camera is of high quality and made very well.

It has two hinges on the side to keep any weather elements out. I had it outside when it was raining and it stayed nice and dry. You can use it for a security camera since it is motion activated or for wildlife.

I like that it has color photos for day pictures and black & white photos for at nighttime. I highly recommend this camera, it is definitely worth the money.

I have mentioned before that our oldest daughter heads off to college in less than a year. #Phones4School #CollectiveBias. One of the things on our to-do list is to research cheap wireless plans. We desire to get her set up with a technological life line a.k.a a cell phone when she is away from home. A cell phone will enable her to communicate when she’s out, give her a life line if she gets stranded or if, God forbid, she runs into trouble. We also want her to have a phone for when she starts driving by herself in a few months.

My daughter was away at her cousin’s house all weekend. It was fun to surprise her with a trip to the store to buy her an early college present. We purchased Alcatel One Touch Fierce ($99.88) for $34.88/month, an unlimited talk text and data/web plan with Walmart’s Family Mobile (T-Mobile is the carrier), plus $25 for the starter kit. We love the unlimited aspect of this plan. It is also affordable for a college student on a limited budget. Bobbie is already figuring on paying for her phone herself. Of course, we are not complaining!

On the way home in the car she was setting up her calendar, which she is going to need to keep track of classes, assignments, exams and activities while she is away in college. She is obviously very excited to have her own smart phone! Other features she likes are the graphics. She is also looking for apps for homework, budgeting and exercising. She is having fun learning her way around her new phone.

This fantastic new Disney app is perfect for the child that loves to play with dough! Now they can squish and create on the go! Squish: Mickey Mouse Club House is the perfect app for you! It is available for an iPad or iPhone.

Mickey Mouse will greet you and walk your child through clay play and making options. Your child will have an option to pick a “clay” Mickey, Minnie, a ball, or square. There are also 8 color options to choose from. Once at the clay play station you can add different shapes to your squish mold, there are 5 different categories to choose from and each has approximately 8 clay shapes to choose from.

There is a texture tool as well as a scoop tool, this is an app that will let your child’s imagination soar! There is also an eraser button that looks like a magic wand. Your child can take a picture of their creations.
Once they are finished they can “melt” or “blow up” their creation and start a new one!

This is a great app for car rides and keeps them busy. It is recommended for child 4 and over. My daughter is 5 and just loves this app in the car.

Keeping my iPad mini safe, protected, and easy to travel with is super important to me. My son loves reading books on it and watching movies so it needs to be protected from little hands as well. A year or two ago my mother-in-law was going about her usual morning, however, one normal routine proved disastrous for her. Our Review: Our eight year old daughter loves princesses so Princess Sofia was perfect for her. Even though it is geared towards younger children she enjoyed playing the activities. Our younger boys benefited from the educational activities as well as had fun in the process.
