Our Review:

The Cardinal at home products are great. We received a plethora of products that i wish I had post surgery. i have had 3 C-sections and my husband has had 5 knee surgeries…so i know all too well what is need and wanted in at home care products!

The items I found extremely helpful within the pack were the bordered silicone foam and the transparent dressing. These items are extremely useful when having to redress wounds or sutures. The other nice item within the pack was the protective underpadding… this proves useful if the patient cannot move and you do not want to ruin any bedding.

Book Review ~ Monsterland

Our Review:

Wow! Another smash hit by Michael Phillips Cash! We loved this book! Jam packed with monsters and adventure make this the perfect Halloween read… or anytime read! As stated above in the summary this book is about teens interacting with monsters at “Monsterland” and although there are teens within the book i would not limit this to a Young Adult Audience … this is a book for Adults too! I cannot say enough about this installment to the Michael Phillips Cash Novel Collection… might just be his best yet! I will not spoil the contents of the book by telling you anymore …you MUST pick this up as a good read!

Pokergeist ~ Book Review

I must admit that the title of this book did not thrill me when I first saw it. I am not interested in poker or the gambling scene. However the supernatural does catch my attention. Overall this was a good book. The general setting did not grasp me as a reader but the supernatural aspect did. I urge you to push past misconceptions about the gambling scene and pick up the book .. .it is very interesting.

Our Review:

This was simply a delightful book!

The cartoony stories were a hit with my family. My children saw this book come in the mail and immediately picked it up and began to read! I was impressed … usually I have to show them the book and ask them to peruse it first … this time they were chomping at the bit to read it before I even asked! Enough said! We loved the fact that the pages are sturdy and of lamitate quality which means that the book will last and last! We also loved that it has an “look and find” aspect to the book… it makes the children search for items in the story while learning. The text also asks open ended questions that make for great family discussion on the stories! This book is a WIN WIN!

2015 Toyota Camry

As a mother of two kids I need lots of room in a car when I’m on the go. I like to have extra clothes, diapers, toys, reusable shopping bags, movies, etc., etc., etc. in my car at all times. On top of that I need room for groceries and shopping bags. I had the pleasure of driving around a 2015 Toyota Camry for the past week. Let’s just say, I loved it from the beginning.

My first impression of the car was, wow that’s nice, but…there’s no way all of my stuff will fit. I was pleasantly surprised once I put the car seats in and all of our stuff how much room we still had. When I went grocery shopping all of my bags fit with room to spare. If I didn’t have kids and my backseat was available, I love that the back seats fold down for even more extra storage.

The car felt very smooth, and had great pick up! My kids called it the cruising car. At one point I was driving on the highway and was going 90 without even knowing it. My favorite feature of the Toyota Camry was when a car was in my blind spot when I wanted to change lanes, the car would beep. The car would also beep when I would get too close to the shoulder or the middle line. I miss those features in the car I’m currently driving.

The Toyota Camry had all of the bells and whistles imaginable. Back up camera, GPS, tons and tons of apps, keyless entry, and more. My kids really enjoyed the sunroof. Overall I would say this is a fantastic car. Very roomy, great features, fast, and great for all families.

There are so many tags that if by chance (very slim) you happen to have to replace a tag you will have extras to replace the missing tag. I honestly am not worried about having to replace any tags… except for maybe a shoe tag. But…with 16 shoe tags I can easily replace a tag if it goes missing (which I doubt it will). This is such a GREAT combo…can I say AWESOME!!!

In the past I have gotten the children their own person first and last name tags…but this year since I decided just to get our last name printed on the tags so we could get more bang for our buck! The labels were used more frequently and were easier to use since I was not fishing around for whose label was whose when labeling school supplies… just slapped on the last name label! … NOt to mention it saved me $$$ I only had to order one combo instead of 3 (I have 3 children)… and let me tell you I STILL HAVE TAGS LEFT OVER…even splitting the one combo 3 ways! AWESOME!!!

Overall, we are ecstatic about Mabel’s Labels! This is such a resilient product…that will LAST! Not only are the products hardy but they are kid friendly and have such nice designs to choose from…you cannot go wrong with Mabel’s labels for your labeling needs!

This is an awesome read. Nothing short of what is expected from the creative mind of Michael Phillip Cash. I loved reading the twists and turns throughout the book. I would love to tell you what happened with Wes and the “program” but what fun would that be for you as a reader. You MUST pick up a copy of this book and be as pleased as I was leafing through the pages!

You will not be disappointed!

40 Sesons ~ Six Flags Great America!

If you have ever wanted to visit a theme park…this year is the year! Six Flags Great America celebrates 40 seasons of thrills this year!

This June we were able to experience all of the excitment and thrills at the park as we took part in the 40 season celebration. The park certainley lives up to its hype!

What is Great America All About:

Making its home in Gurnee, Illinois, it was Initially built with a 50 million dollar investment, thousands of workers and enumerable details. It opened on May 29, 1976 … today it is one of the largest theme parks in the country.

Here are some highlights:

The Columbia Carousel is the world’s tallest Carousel.
Great AMerica was built with a sister park located in Santa Clara, Californis. The parks were built to be identical copies of each other.
The Whizzer is one of only two “speedracer” coasters still in existence.
When it debuted, Ragin Bull was the world’s first hyper-twister coaster.
BATMAN: The Ride was the world’s first suspended looping coaster.
At its debut, The American Eagle had the world’s longest drop and fastest speed of any wooden coaster. Now its neighbor Goliath holds those recoeds.
Goliath is Guinness World Record certified as the tallest, steepest, and fastest wooden roller coaster in the world.
Skull Island in Hurricane Harbor debuted as the world’s largest interactive play structure.
The state of Illinois has officially made May 29th GREAT AMERICA DAY!

We had so much fun on our visit to the park. Not only did we have a fabulous time with family…but we spontaneously met a multitude of friends at the park. It was great to see so many faces we new in the crowds of people! My children were exstatic to see their friends at the park on the same day they were. Needless to say it is a wonderful place to go and spend the day and meet up with firends!
