Our Review:
We thought that this book was absolutely WONDERFUL! Not only does it give up close views of animals but really allows children to understand the animals and the science of zoology! We especially liked the activites that are linked throughout the book giving children engagement to what they have just read and learned. It really gets the mind processing and thinking!
THe authors Josh and Bethanie Hesterman have outdone themselves in creating this volume for today’s children!

It made me feel like the product was formulated just for me and my family…as if Moody Sisters had an insight to the products that I have wanted for ages!
We were privileged to review 3 skincare products from the Moody sisters line of Natural skincare! This was a treat! The Moody Sisters skin care line has top quality natural skincare options for everyone! My daughter and I were able to use and test all the products that Moody Sisters sent our way and we both had positive results and thoughts to send your way!
This is a great product… it has a nice foamy lather to effectively fight dirt! The face wash emits a nice minty scent while cleansing, tightening pores, and fighting blemishes. Upon use I loved the fact that the product made my face feel clean and refreshed without drying out my skin. This face wash is great because it is recommended for all skin types … normal, oily, or combination. This was great for my family because both my daughter and myself could use the product on our different skin types. My skin tends to be normal to combination and hers more combination. We both loved the product and how it made our skin feel. It was an awesome replacement to our normal face wash and actually performed better, balancing out our skin!
This too was a wonderful product. As advertized it had a nice lightweight feel to moisturize the skin. I don’t know about you but I like a nice light moisturizer that is not too heavy on my face. The lightweight formula makes it great for both day or night use! The moisturizer is aloe based and softens the skin without leaving a greasy feel. I like that this moisturizer is oil-free, as anything with added oils tends to clog my pores or cause a breakout… this was nice to know that I would not have to worry about any aftermath that may come with using a new moisturizer!
I can say that I honestly did not use this product within the review time frame, as I had no blemished to eradicate. However, my daughter did use the product with great success. She stated that the product was easy to use and felt nice on the skin. It has a pleasant scent, reminiscent of an essential oil blend. We did notice a difference in her overall skin after using the blemish serum. The areas that has a breakout were diminished and her skin was noticeably clearer after a week or so of use.
Overall, these were great products. We were so pleased that these were natural organic products! It was also very refreshing that the products were effective and pleasant to use, with no side effects. The products lived up to the company’s claims, nice!

Keeping my family healthy is very important to me in many aspects. My husband and children have very sensitive skin so I have to be careful what I buy. Whenever possible I try to find natural and organic products for them. I find that organic products are worth the investment for the better of my family.
Bella Organics is a great company that has created an entire line of skincare products that are naturally organic. They contain no synthetic chemicals or toxic ingredients. They use only the best plant-based essential oils and extracts and their packaging is 100% recyclable. Bella Organics offers an array of products from lip balm, to body scrub, to deodorant, to baby items. I had the pleasure of trying Bella Organics Raspberry Lip Balm and Iced Lemonade Deoderant Crème.
First of all, I love that I can read all of the ingredients in the Raspberry Lip Balm; shea butter, almond oil, beeswax, coconut oil, raspberry extract, and stevia. It goes on smooth and made my lips feel silky. I was surprised that the lip balm lasted a couple of hours before needing to reapply. Their lip balms are available in a variety of flavors including mint, pina colada, and vanilla tangerine.
I wasn’t sure what to expect with the Iced Lemonade deodorant crème. Upon opening, I was immediately in love with the aroma. It instantly reminded of summer. I have never tried organic deodorant and never realized how toxic anti-perspirants are to the body. Bella Organics deodorant crèmes work simply by fighting bacteria and providing a pleasant scent to the underarms.

My kids eat very few vegetables. I either have to add a lot of cheese to mask the taste, or puree vegetables and sneak them into casseroles. Even then, my kids notice them. I have yet to find a way for them to eat vegetables willingly. That is until they tried Veggie-Go’s.

Are you Irish? I’m a little bit of Irish, but our family is always Irish during St. Patrick’s Day! We like to celebrate the holiday by hanging up shamrocks, sticking leprechaun window clings on the bedroom windows, and eating corned beef and cabbage. We don’t do too much, but would love to add more fun to the month of March. I cannot wait to share Silly McGilly with my family this St. Patrick’s Day season.
Silly McGilly is a fun Leprechaun who likes to play silly tricks on children during the St. Patrick’s Day season. Read the Silly McGilly book to your children and place the doll by a window each evening you want Silly to play a trick. At night Silly will do some shenanigans in the house. Some tricks can be leaving shamrock stickers around the house, turning the toilet water green, dying milk green, and anything else you can think of. Then in the morning the kids get to wake up and see what crazy tricks their leprechaun played.
The book is absolutely adorable, very relatable, and easy to understand for little ones. The pictures are very colorful and the story is fun to read.
The Silly McGilly doll is very cute and great for kids. The plush is soft and easily sits on a window. This would be a great tradition to begin in any family or classroom. The Silly McGilly website offers some really great ideas for tricks that can be played. I cannot wait for March 1, when I can introduce Silly McGilly to my family!
Hoodsbee is an innovative hoodie that transforms into a plush friend or a plush friend that transforms into a hoodie. With Hoodsbee, there are so many options. This unique patented technology allows your little one to carry their travel plush buddy, put it on when it is cold, fold it back up into a plush and use it as a head pillow for when they are tired. It’s as easy as 1,2,3! Fold, roll and snap! Now, not only do you have a pillow and a travel companion, but you also have a nicely wrapped up hoodie that is easy to store or travel with.
Hoodsbee was created when the design team at HLL design was trying to come up with a new kind of character hoodie jacket that could have a rolled up function into the hood. After seeing the shape it created, they added arms, legs, eyes and ears to the hood to make it look more like a plush toy. But it was still just a jacket rolled into the hood. They found that by pulling the sides tightly together and fastening them in a specific spot, along with the front of the hood being fastened as well, that it kept everything nice and compact, tight and clean looking. And thus, hoodsbee was created.
Our Review:
We were able to review the boys Hoodsbee character “Clobber the Wrestling Monster” in size 7
Clobber the wrestling monster is made of black Polar Fleece with Charcoal grey 2×1 Cotton/spandex rib cuffs and hem band. The hood is lined with charcoal grey Polar Fleece so that it is warm and soft on the inside too. The red zipper is a heavy duty, molded plastic and matches the taping around the neck for a clean look and feel.
The blue, green and red arms and horns are also made of Polar fleece and stuffed with goodness (and poly filing). Clobber’s blue nose is felt with a satin stitch embroidery along the edges. The teeth are felt as well, double layered with edge stitching and a cool raw edge finish. The eyes are double layered as well and accented with a thick hand stitch look embroidery in contrast thread. The button eyes have blue stitching to match the blue horn and make this jacket a “monster” of a good time to wear.
This is such a confortable and fun hoodie for children! it is made of nice soft materials so no complaints of “itchiness” and the colors are wonderful! As you can see in the photo above the Hoodie was well received! It will be a favorite to wear until it is outgrown. We did get a size larger than we normally wear just in case the size ran small. But as you can see he has room to spare so sizes are pretty much on target with national brands. If you are looking for the item to be an exact fit … it does run true to size. But when i doubt order one size up like we did and they will have plenty of room to grow into the cute hoodsbee!

In short we are in love with the idea of this new series! What a wonderful way to introduce young children to cultural diversity. The text of the books are simple yet powerful. We liked that the book was written for children … I did not have to summarize or paraphrase information because the text was outside of their knowledge grasp…what a plus! The vibrant illustrations were also a plus. My children not only loved listening and learning but took the book after we were done reading just to look at the pictures.
On a cultural note… this book really hit home for us. Our dear friends are of Scottish heritage and we are forever hearing of their Scottish traditions. I thought this was very poignant for our family because it let the children learn about our friends’ cultural identity.
IF YOU WERE ME AND LIVED IN … HUNGARY
The books are geared toward Pre-K through age eight… well… my 5, 8, and 10 year olds all LOVED the books! Love of literature and cultural awareness is a must in our household, so this series was a hit!
